Well Every time we go to our Facebook Timeline, Our Newfeeds is always flooded with Updates from friends and posts from facebook page that we Follow. What makes worse is sponsored Advertisements which hides other important updates.

But that’s just part of the story…. Are you sick of friend’s regular and useless updates? Bored by getting business page promotion on your timeline?

Here’s the kicker from FaceBook!

Facebook has launched a Snooze button that lets you temporarily unfollow your friends, pages or groups for 24 hours, 1 week or 30 days according to your convenience.

The Snooze feature can help people by avoiding posts from some people without un-friending or unfollowing that user, thus giving them more authority over what they like.

Therefore it helps people avoid posts from certain people without un-friending them.

Facebook is figuring out new ways to enhance more freedom to users so that they can stay connected with the stories they find most relevant.

Wondering, How it works?

To Snooze someone,

1) Tap the drop-down arrow in the top right of concerned post.

2) In addition to unfollow option, there’s Unfollow or Snooze. Tap that, and you can choose whether you want to Snooze someone for a day, a week, a month or permanently unfollow them.

Not able to see that option in your facebook ?

Currently this feature is in beta stage and is being tested among facebook users in US. It is expected to roll out soon globally. It would depend on the success of the US rollout.

We all know that Facebook is always concerned about improving user’s experience and this will make Social Media Channels more efficient.
